A Proper Village Pub. Proudly Reopened.

Proudly reopened as a proper village pub, pouring well-kept ales, rotating guest beers, and offering a friendly place to gather and unwind.

Welcome Back to The Boycott Arms

The Boycott Arms is officially open again — brought back to life as a proper, independent village pub.

We’re focused on what matters most: well-kept beer, relaxed conversation, and a place locals can genuinely call their own.

No food (for now), no fuss — just great drinks and a friendly bar.

Came on recommendation. We were told there was a 20 minute wait for our food order, 3 cobs and 2 chips. We waited 55 minutes for the cobs and an additional 5 minutes for the chips. The chips were cold and the cheese in the cobs was mild, not very good quality either. £4.95 for the cobs and £5.95 for the chips, overpriced when you can get a good cob in Bridgnorth for £3 . Won’t be returning.

Refurbished country pub, open fire in the winter, good selection of real ales and lager. Large outdoor seating area, worth a visit.

Nice pub but the times they close are up for debate. 11 is the usual pub closing time but here it can be 9 or 9.30 as we've experienced in this last week or so. The pub is out of the way and not near other pubs so if you make the effort to go there you need to know when it will close. We were there during the last week and a young girl came out and said it was Last orders around 9 ish . An elderly couple can about 9..15 and walked across the road from the carpark, the lady was using a walking stick went into the pub and was told it was closed. A man obviously part of the pub was talking to a group of customers near by asked the older couple what they wanted and said obviously they couldn't have a drink as it was closing. Dreadful customer service I doubt they will ever come back. If you travel to a pub that is not on the beaten track you need to know it will be open when you get there. I will think twice before going there again.
